To the extent that either Takeda or Miyamoto take up the role, it’s most likely to be Takeda. Miyamoto is absolutely still heavily engaged with game creation, despite his senior status. He is a very hands-on producer. I see it as very unlikely that Miyamoto would become Nintendo president.nSo yes, of these two, Takeda is most likely. But this presumes that either of these two men will take the job; that’s not necessarily the case. They are acting in the interim in Iwata’s place, but a third candidate could arise – there are many senior long-time1 at Nintendo who could be suitable for the job.
